Update 2: Basement Wet Bar Transformation

It took a lot of work to bring this basement wet bar space into this decade!

The cabinets on the left haunt me in my sleep. They were in nearly every room in our home when we moved in including the baths and kitchen!

To pick up where my initial wet bar post left off it's time to start installing some wet bar cabinets just purchased from Menards. I decided to paint them with Sherwin Williams Iron Ore to give them a nice dark color to contrast with the lighter gray and white I chose for the walls.

Added carpet! This space is starting to come together 😀

Finally got the beverage fridge delivered and it fits perfectly. The sink will go over the far left cabinet door.

Butcher block countertop from #IKEA. I absolutely love the stain color.

Installing it did result in some wall scuffs that after a minor panic attack I got right on touching-up!

I wanted to pick cabinet hardware that would highlight the fridge framing as well as the chrome sink we were prepping to put in. I just love the cupped drawer pulls!

We finally got the sink in and installed the shelving. The wood for the shelves were repurposed from our basement demo and I chose some industrial pipe brackets to help tie that entire space together.

I spy the elf on the shelf! Shhhhh don't tell my kiddos...

Bar sink close up! Love how it matches the chrome cupped handle below 😊

Close up on the industrial pipe brackets 👀. Also, don't you love that light up BAR sign #targetstyle

Just look at this beauty! SW Iron Ore and chrome POPs in all the right places.

1,000% better than it was and functional too! Bonus!

We could not be happier with this wet bar, don't you love it? What's your favorite feature?
